This is an important victory for Canadians, that the people's voice was heard. Now, we need to see the government ACT on this report and announce changes!
Email your MPP and let them know that you support the Ombudsman's report and want to see change and some serious reprimands for these decisions.

Thanks Alan! I think that Canadians (especially Ontarians) are going to get a lot more dissatisfied in short order. The 10% discount being offered (starting Jan 1) on electricity is to temporarily pacify the masses. When they see their bills jump up another 25 to 30% within four years, hopefully they'll finally get up off of their arses and DO SOMETHING.
If I had a megaphone that could reach the entire province I would SCREAM as loud and as long as I could in hopes of waking them up!
Recent reports that our family income to debt ratio exceeds that of the average American is not a good sign. As commodity prices go up (they already are), fuel, electricity and food prices increase while wages stay flat - we'll soon see some angry Canadians.
Oh and BTW, businesses don't employ people if they can find a way to make money without incurring additional expense. Innovation and demand creates jobs. How do we get the decision makers online with this vital knowledge?
